Western Engineering Student Societies' Team
WESST is an alliance of engineering student societies consisting of 11 member schools across western Canada. WESST helps its member societies share expertise on organizing events and managing services for undergraduate engineering students. WESST provides an environment for member schools to exchange information and resources for the benefit of student leaders across western Canada. It also serves as the unified voice of engineering students in Western Canada, representing its member schools to other student societies, industry, professional associations, and to the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students.
Executives' Meeting Conference
The WESST Executive’s Meeting conference gathers student leaders from 12 universities across Western Canada to discuss policies and initiatives for WESST, as well as to learn about and share ideas regarding engineering student leadership. The conference includes information sessions, roundtable discussions, and the WESST General Assembly. EM also serves as the transition from the previous WESST Executive to the new team.
